What are you doing during your waiting period

I was reading the books of Job this morning and I got to know that Job was a perfect man, he was the most righteous man who eschewed evil. He was also the greatest man of his time, he had so many possessions. Just imagine Aliko Dangote or Bill Gates of our time, he had people at his beck and call, he had numerous servants, estates, livestock e.t.c.
He could get anything he wanted at the snap of his fingers because he had everything money could buy, am sure he could even buy slaves if he wanted.
He also had children who had their own apartments and went there to feast during vacation. Imagine travelling to the United States on a week's trip or going to Dubai to cruise around because the world was at your feet. He even offered burnt offerings to God or even donated to charity in case his children had sinned unknowingly or knowingly so God could forgive their trespasses.
And suddenly something tragic happened which altered the course of his life, he lost everything from the estates, livestock to his children, e.t.c.
WHY ME LORD
WHY ME LORD

He became penniless and he kept questioning himself, "why me",
God who I have wronged,
Did my business partners connived together to deceive me.
Did I not serve God well
Did I not give to the poor
Did my wife wrong God
Did my children commit sins
Was I not faithful to God enough.
So many endless questions we ask ourselves when evil befall us
And because of that, he lost hope in himself, you can imagine someone who gave hope to the hopeless now becoming hopeless himself, he did not know how to forge ahead of life, he was confused, embittered, frustrated. And in that process he started cursing the day he was born, he became depressed. Even his friends tried to console him, but they did not succeed.
There are so many people going through difficulties in this world, because they are happy and smile back at you does not mean all is well with them.
Is it that you don't have a job and you have been waiting patiently, during that period you could sharpen your skills by going for some training or volunteer for any organization then that ultimate job you are looking for will meet you. I remembered one woman I met a long time ago, she is now a top manager in a company, she told me that after her school, she did not have any job, so what did she do, she volunteered for a non- profit organization and in the long run due to her experiences she was able to get a job role in that particular company before she was able to reach the pinnacle of her career.
Also you have past the age of marriage and it seems no one is forthcoming, prepare yourself well before you enter that journey, have a close relationship with God first and foremost, then read some books on marriages and also sharpen your skills and become productive so that you don't have to be dependent on your husband all the time.

Waiting period in my own definition is the time frame before you get your desired result. It is the time between where you at now and where you want to be.
It could vary from minutes, seconds, hours, days, weeks, months and even years.
So, back to Job, he realized that instead of wailing and wailing all his problems will not vanish. But there is this part in the bible that I liked, he said ''All the days of my appointed time will I wait until my change comes"
He changed his mentality, he became positive minded, he was hopeful for his future and at the end of the day his latter became greater than his former.
Just remember if there is a beginning there will be an end. Use your waiting period constructively and it will be a greater end.
Have a lovely week dearies and I await your comments.
